Workforce Services Coordinator

Birmingham 2022 are looking for a Workforce Services Coordinator to join and help deliver a fantastic games experience. The right candidate will be responsible for supporting the systems processing and maintenance of all Workforce, paid staff, volunteers and contractors within the Workforce Management System through the journey to Games Time.

This role will also support the development of the Workforce Management System, identifying business processes for all stages. It will be a unique opportunity to work on such a large event coming to Birmingham. This role plays a pivotal part in each step of the Workforce journey including assignments, offers, invites to training and the scheduling and rostering of the Games Workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Workforce Systems to test and implement all phases in the Workforce Journey
  • Contribute to the testing and maintenance of information in the Assignments
  • Work closely with the Volunteer, Training, Uniforms and Workforce Planning and Operations teams to determine policies, procedures and timeframes and gather information necessary for the dissemination of event offers and invitations.
  • Providing support to Workforce Services Assistants, including training, coaching and development.
  • Work closely with Workforce Systems to test and implement all phases in the Workforce journey.
  • Provide tools, templates, training, support and advice to Functional Areas to assist with managing the Assignments, Scheduling and Rostering of volunteers and paid staff.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines for Volunteer Assignments into Games Time roles.
  • Being central to the Volunteer end-2-end experience enabling the services team to help, guide and support the wider business with the relevant information.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Must be organised and able to prioritise competing demands.
  • Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their priorities and negotiating to ensure effective delivery.
  • Proven multi-tasker with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective and adaptable in a constantly changing environment.
  • High attention to detail.


Desirable

  • Previous experience within HR, Recruitment or Volunteers.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to absorb new and complex information.
  • Willingness and determination to set clear goals and strives to attain them and is not deterred by challenges.



Start Date: ASAP

Location: One Brindley Place, Birmingham

Salary: £30,000 per annum
