If so, Birmingham 2022 is looking to recruit a Senior Quality Assurance/Quantity Surveyor.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance/Quantity Surveying Manager, you will be responsible for assuring, at the venue and contractor level, compliance to the agreed level of service in terms of quality and quantity, as well as, supporting management in the collection and analysis of data related to the deployment, installation, redeployment, de-mount and disposal of assets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely reports to the QA/QS Manager with respect to the compliance with the agreed level of service based on the individual contracts at the identified Venues;
  • Verify that various deployments have occurred with the quality and in the quantities specified in the contracts and in line with the service level agreement;
  • Coordinate the QA Officers onsite audit operations with respect to deployment quality and quantities as specified in the contracts and in line with the service level agreement;
  • Ensures process compliance through the implementation of comprehensive procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, forms, templates, checklists, worksheets, and other product and process related documentation;
  • Keep record of any changes occurred during the installation, redeployment (where applicable), de-mount and disposal;
  • Resolve issues and provide expert advice and support in the delivery of security systems and infrastructure;
  • Support the planning and development of readiness exercises, concept testing and contingency planning for the program.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in a quality assurance programme and proven communication skills;
  • Internal and/or Lead Auditor experience/certification preferred;
  • Must have appropriate knowledge of regulatory practices and other guidance documents;
  • Extensive project management experience;
  • Detailed and demonstrative experience and knowledge of Private Contract Security audit and personnel management;
  • Demonstrable expertise, credibility, and leadership in resource management;
  • Proven experience utilising exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to project manage and resolve issues at a senior level.

Salary: upto £50,000 per annum
