If so, Birmingham 2022 is looking to recruit a QA/QS Manager.

Working collaboratively to support the Head of Security Operations and the wider senior management team your responsibilities will be to primarily to ensure that Private Contract Security (PCS) Companies' personnel deployment are compliant in meeting agreed levels of service, as well as, to oversee that the temporary security overlay construction projects are completed on time, in budget and in accordance with individual contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility to ensure compliance with the agreed level of service based on the individual contracts;
  • Support the Workforce Security Manager in his/her effort to coordinate and manage contract administration and manage performance of security overlay suppliers and installers;
  • Participate into the PSC personnel selection, vetting and training program by setting KPIs, monitoring and validating progresses;
  • Ensures process compliance through the development of comprehensive procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, forms, templates, checklists, worksheets, and other product and process related documentation;
  • Coordinate the verification that various deployments, installations, de-mount and disposal have occurred with the quality and in the quantities specified in the contracts and in line with the service level agreement;
  • Provide QA expert advice and support in the delivery of security systems and infrastructure.

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Undergraduate degree accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in quantity surveying, commercial management or a related construction subject;
  • Programme / Project Management skills / experience for complex and time bound / critical programmes / projects (including the use of Programme Management tools / software);
  • Demonstrable ability to create tools adequate for competency and readiness tests with respect to PSC personnel training standards;
  • Detailed and demonstrative experience and knowledge of Contract Security industry regulations and challenges;
  • A good understanding of major UK security operators and providers;
  • Able to engage with and manage senior stakeholders.

Start Date: January 2022

Salary: upto £55,000 per annum

Location: One Brindley Place, Birmingham, B1 2JB (full-time in office)

This position is subject to a Basic criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. This position is also subject to CTC clearance.
