If so, Birmingham 2022 is looking to recruit three experienced Quality Assurance Officers.

Working collaboratively to support the Senior Quality Assurance/Quantity Surveyor and senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Private Contract Security (PCS) Companies and the equipment suppliers are performing based on the agreed level of service. Furthermore, you will help facilitate the Venue Security Managers' effort in the security suppliers auditing process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely reports to the Senior Quality Assurance/Quantity Surveyor with respect to the compliance with the agreed level of service based on the individual contracts at the identified venues;
  • Verify that various deployments have occurred with the quality and in the quantities specified in the contracts and in line with the service level agreement;
  • Keep record of any changes occurred during the deployment of personnel;
  • Support the Head of Security Operations as required;
  • Act as an ambassador for the Organising Committee in all matters related to Security, both externally and internally;
  • Support the planning and development of readiness exercises, concept testing and contingency planning for the program.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Detailed and demonstrative experience and knowledge of assurance and auditing processes;
  • Proven experience utilising exceptional interpersonal and communication skills resolve issues;
  • Experience in a quality assurance program and proven communication skills;
  • Appropriate knowledge of regulatory practices and other guidance documents;
  • Ability to work in partnership with all levels of staff in a collaborative or advisory role;
  • Comfortable using/learning how to navigate new software for the purposes of, but not limited to, incident reporting, issue escalation, etc.

Salary: upto £45,000 per annum
