Birmingham Commonwealth Games is looking for multiple Accreditation Team Supervisors. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Accreditation team who will build and operate a world-class accreditation system to deliver a spectacular Commonwealth Games.


The main function of this role is to supervise a team to follow the processes implemented to finalise the Accreditation for all Athletes, Team Officials and other Games Family groups who come through the Welcome Centre at the NEC.
The positions available are for nightshifts in our Welcome Centre at the NEC, which is a 24/7 operation. Candidates need to be available to work 2200-0800, including weekends, between July 18th and August 8th 2022. A shift premium is being offered in recognition of the shift pattern. For the week commencing 11th July, day shifts (0900-1700) will be required for training purposes.


Responsibilities

  • Fully support the accreditation programme as required.
  • Manages team to follow all relevant accreditation processes.
  • Ensure team validates and ensures the accuracy of data.
  • Support the wider accreditation team in delivering overall programme and organisational objectives.

Skills and Experience


Essential

  • Experience of supervising and motivating a team of customer service administrators.
  • Maths and English GCSE C or above.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 -Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships and deal with people at all levels.
  • Collaborates effectively to ensure delivery of mutual objectives.

Salary: £16.50 per hour (includes night shift premium)



Please note, due to the nature of this huge event, shift work including weekend working will be required at Games time. Furthermore, there will be limitations on taking annual leave during the Games operational period in July and August. More specific details can be discussed at interview.


This position is subject to an accreditation security and background check.
